Toulouse: Gathering For Purchasing Power
Cardboards read 'Revolution', 'Tremble bourgeois' and 'Support to the strikers'. French CGT, FSU and SUD labour unions workers called for a gathering in Toulouse before a national protest in Paris sunday and before a day of strike on October 18th to push for government measures to address inflation, workers' rights and pension reforms. Inflation is shrinking their purhasing power. More than 300 people gathered. Protesters want President Macron to scrap his planned pensions reform and his planned reform of unemployment allowances.
