Inuyu Burning Record In Indonesia
Residents burned Inuyu or local bamboo rice at the Poso Lake Festival (FDP) arena in Tentena, Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia on October 21, 2022. The inuyu is made from glutinous rice mixed with coconut milk and put in bamboo, then burned. The mass Inuyu burning covered 7,000 bamboo segments and consumed 3.5 tons of glutinous rice and 2,100 coconut grains. The action succeeded in breaking the record for the most bamboo rice burning and was recorded in the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI). (Photo by Basri Marzuki/NurPhoto)
