A Robotic Seal Helps Treat Ukrainian Children Suffering From War Trauma
Dr Magdalena Lazarewicz, head of the University Psychological Clinic is seen holding Paro, a robot seal used in psychological therapy in Warsaw, Poland on 28 October, 2022. The robotic seal called Paro is a gift from the Japanese embassy and is currently being used in different types of psychotherapy at the Medical University of Warsaw (MUW) Psychological Counseling Center. The university is also using Paro in the treatment of Ukrainian children suffering from war trauma.
