The Nepal Gray Langur Monkeys In The Wild
The Nepal gray langur monkeys in the wild in Langtang mountain region in the Himalayas in Nepal. Gray langurs are also called Hanuman langurs or Hanuman monkeys, are Old World monkeys native to the Indian subcontinent constituting the genus Semnopithecus. The Nepal gray langur scientifically Semnopithecus schistaceus is a gray langur endemic to the Himalayas in Nepal, far southwestern Tibet, northern India, northern Pakistan, Bhutan and possibly Afghanistan. It is found in forests at an elevation of 1,500 to 4,000 metres high in the mountains. The Nepal gray langur is both terrestrial and arboreal and eats leaves.
