Mosintuwu Festival In Central Sulawesi
Residents show "Woyo" or a substitute for money made of bamboo at the Mosintuwu Festival of the Mosintuwu Festival in Tentena, Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia on November 9, 2022. Woyo which replicates the past traidisi of the Pamona, Mori, Bada, and Napu tribes, only applies to any visitors who will transact during the festival that displays the variety of cultures of the tribe. After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the cultural festival with the theme "Remembering, Maintaining, and Celebrating Poso Cultural Traditions" was held again and was attended by indigenous people from 20 village representatives and four local tribes, namely Pamona, Mori, Bada, and Napu. The festival, which emphasizes the participation of indigenous peoples, features a variety of cultural attractions and traditions of each tribe including its culinary peculiarities.
