Memorial at US Capitol for Iranians killed in recent protests
An Iranian-American reenacts the treatment of Khodanur Lajai by Iran's Islamic regime at a memorial to protesters killed in 2019 and 2022 at the US Capitol. Authorities handcuffed Lajai to a flagpole and responded to his request for water by putting a cup just beyond his reach.
