Freedom For Iran Rally In Toronto On International Human Rights Day

Protestors hold a banner urging the Canadian government to list the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization as Iranian-Canadians and their supporters protested on the International Human Rights Day against the Iranian Islamic regime in Toronto, Canada on December 10, 2022. Protests against the Iranian Islamic regime have been growing all around the world since the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Kurdish who was arrested and killed by Iran's morality police for 'improperly' wearing her hijab. This rally comes following the first execution carried out by Islamic Republic of Iran of an individual for taking part in the protests that have gripped the country in recent months. The man, Mohsen Shekari, was arrested on September 25th and sentenced to death for closing a street in Tehran and injuring a policeman with a knife. (Photo by Creative Touch Imaging Ltd./NurPhoto)
