Indonesian Economic During The Holiday Season
Children enjoy swimming and playing in the water with their families during the year-end holiday season which coincides with school holidays, at a water park in Bogor Regency, West Java Province, 26 December 2022. Celebrations for Christmas 2022 and New Year 2023, as well as school holiday moments which are carried out without restrictions are believed to have a multiplier effect on the economy as people's activities increase, which can be seen from the increasing movement of economic activity triggered by movements in travel flows in all modes of transportation, as well as the increasing number of visitors in various tourist destinations during this year's holiday season. The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) projects that the circulation of money during the year-end holidays could reach IDR 23.85 trillion, assuming that the total number of people going home is around 44.7 million or the equivalent of 11.92 million families.
