Hong Kong Government Press Conference On Easing Covid Restrictions

Hong Kong's Chief Executive John Lee announced today at a press conference that Hong Kong will ease its Covid-19 social distancing restrictions. Including removing the ban on gatherings (cap 599G), no longer require the use of vaccination pass which requires people to scan their vaccination pass before entering designated areas, no longer requiring the close contact of Covid positive patients to under quarantine, and no longer requiring people entering Hong Kong to undergo a PCR test, but a mask mandate will still be in effect requiring people to wear face mask in public areas and public transportation.
