Ship Antarctica In Varna, Bulgaria

The first marine research ship in the history of Bulgaria ''St. St. Cyril and Methodius'' set sail from the port of Varna on December 27, on its debut scientific mission in the World ocean and off the coast of Antarctica. The voyage assisting the 31-st Bulgarian Antarctic expedition is expected to last four months, and the vessel will take 40 days to reach Livingston Island. The Bulgarian Antarctic base ''St. Kliment Ohridski'' was founded in 1988. Bulgaria have 30 completed expeditions and one of the few countries that already has a ship that is equiped and can work in the area. Photo by Petar Petrov/Impact Press Group/NurPhoto)
