Alfredo Del Mazo, governor of the State of Mexico, during Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador's 1017th press conference of the year 2022 at the National Palace in Mexico City, which will continue with the same daily dynamic until the end of his term in office. The Mexican president estimated that, for the rest of his six-year term, the country will grow at an annual rate of 3% in order for the country to recover from the fall generated by the pandemic. He also announced the upcoming inauguration of the Mexico-Toluca Interurban Train, 10 years after his predecessor, Enrique Pena Nieto, announced the construction of the project.
