Toritos Parade To Welcome The New Year 2023 In Mexico

People hold a toritos in Santa Maria Tomatlan in Iztapalapa, Mexico City, during a parade of bulls in the streets of the area to welcome the New Year 2023 in Mexico. The parade of toritos is a tradition of Spanish origin after the indigenous resistance that is linked to the theme of the cattle ranches and their foremen. It is considered the representation of the devil hunting heretics, in order to give them the deserved punishment.
