Reopening Of Tienditas International Bridge At The Colombian-Venezuelan Border
Customs control officers stationed at a checkpoint are seen waiting on the Venezuelan side for the reopening of the international bridge. Tienditas, January 01, 2023. Located between the border crossings of Colombia and Venezuela, the binational infrastructure, renamed the Atanasio Girardot Bridge, was the epicenter of the years of tensions that preceded the reestablishment of relations and will be reopened for the crossing of vehicles, as well as merchandise and people. 240 meters long and 40 meters wide, this bridge has lanes for cargo trucks, cars, pedestrians and bicycles.
