Opponents To The Rivel's ZAC Gather In Front Of The Courthouse Of Toulouse

Opponents to the 'ZAC du Rivel' (ie Rivel's joint development zone) near Toulouse gathered in front of the Courthouse of Toulouse in support to the last farmer who refuse to sell its fields for the ZAC project. He has refused for years arguing that the fiels belong to his family since 5 generations and farmers are needed to feed people. The Courthouse of Toulouse must now decide if the farmer will be expropriated or not. Opponents to the 'ZAC' argue also than the Toulouse's region has enough malls and that a giant warehouse near the ZAC is empty for years. Toulouse. France. January 24th 2023.
