Snow In Puglia

Bird's-eye view of Lake Pescara near Biccari and Monte Cornacchia, the highest point in Puglia, on January 28, 2023. Bad weather continues to scourge Southern Italy in these hours due to the cyclone positioned in the heart of the Mediterranean. Precipitation is snow up to low altitudes in the Apennines, with abundant snowfalls in the inland areas of Puglia itself but also in nearby Basilicata. The main critical issues, however, were recorded precisely in Puglia for the damages due to flooding, inundations and flooding of watercourses. (Photo by Davide Pischettola/NurPhoto)
