March against the Islamic regime in Iran
Journalist and author Homa Sarshar carries a photo Farhad Meysami during a march in support of protesters in Iran. Meysami is a physician who has been on hunger strike in an Iranian prison since October, 2022, demanding the release of political prisoners, an end to hijab requirements, and an end to the execution of protesters. Demonstrations have taken place in Iran since the September, 16, 2022, death of Mahsa Amini in custody of Iran's morality police.
