Departing From Pisa A Contingent Of About 50 Firefighters And Medical Personnel To Bring Relief To The People Affected Earthquake On The Syrian-Turkish Border

Departing from Pisa a contingent of about 50 firefighters and medical personnel to bring relief to the people affected by tonight's Earthquake on the Syrian-Turkish border in Pisa, Italy, on February 6, 2023. Around 3 p.m. the Tuscany Mobile Column, completed preliminary operations to check and stow equipment. It is now being awaited by an Air Force aircraft at Pisa Airport. On board will go USAR (Urban Search and Rescue) units assisted by canine and structural experts from the Fire Department with the contribution of ten sanitarians.
