Fourth Day Of Inter-union Mobilisation Against The Pension Reform In Paris

All the leaders of the intersyndicale are gathered behind the general secretary of the FO union (Force Ouvriere), Frederic Souillot, the general secretary of the CGT union (Confederation Generale du Travail), Philippe Martinez, the president of the CFE-CGC union (Confederation francaise de l'encadrement - Confederation generale des cadres), Francois Hommeril, and the general secretary of the UNSA (Union nationale des syndicats autonomes), Laurent Escure and the General Secretary of the CFDT (Confederation Francaise Democratique du Travail), Laurent Berger are present at the trade union demonstration organised by the eight main trade unions of salaried workers and youth organisations in Paris on 11 February 2023 to protest against the draft pension reform presented by the French government, which would push back the retirement age from 62 to 64 years. For this fourth day of mobilisation, exceptionally organised on a Saturday, no strike has been announced in order not to disrupt the French people's holiday departures and not to harm the movement's popularity.
