Jalaladdin Googlani (center), in traditional Turkmen dress, joins hands with other volunteers to block an unwelcome radical fringe group during a rally against the Islamic regime in Iran on the anniversary of the 1979 revolution. Thousands of demonstrators from across the eastern half of the United States called on the Iranian diaspora to unite to topple the regime and demanded world leaders do more to isolate the current government. The event's main message was unity, and the fring group undermined that message. They were escorted out of the rally by US Park Police. (Photo by Allison Bailey/NurPhoto)
