Germany refugee accomodation

Energy Minister Sigmar Gabriel departs after visiting a cabinet-making tradecrafts exposure program for migrants and refugees at the Arrivo center on December 17, 2015 in Berlin, Germany. The Arrivo program, under the slogan "Refugee is not a job," offers asylum-applicants two-week exposure courses to a variety of tradecrafts, including cabinet making, auto mechanics and baking, as well as German-language instruction. Arrivo partners with the German association of skilled crafts (Zentralverband des deutschen Handwerks) and helps refugees and migrants to continue their training by finding apprenticeships and job training. Germany is likely to receive over one million migrants and refugees this year and the German government is eager to integrate those who stay into the workforce. (Photo by Markus Heine/NurPhoto)
