Tim Peake Space Mission
EARTH Aboard the International Space Station -- 18 Dec 2015 -- The first picture taken by British ESA astronaut Tim Peake onboard the International Space Station of the Soyuz TMA-19M spacecraft on 17 Dec 2015. Tim Peake said of the image: "Seems appropriate that my first photo should be of the Soyuz spacecraft that delivered us safely to the International Space Station," Flight Engineer Tim Kopra of NASA and Flight Engineer Tim Peake of ESA (European Space Agency) flanked Malenchenko as he brought the Soyuz to the Rassvet port for the start of a six-month mission.
