Former President of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro delivers remarks at the Conservative Political Action Conference in National Harbor, Maryland, United States on March 4, 2023. Jair Bolsonaro is a Brazilian politician and retired military officer who served as the 38th president of Brazil from 2019 until 2022. He was elected in 2018 as a member of the Social Liberal Party, which he turned into a conservative party before cutting ties with it. The Conservative Political Action Conference is an annual political conference attended by conservative activists and elected officials from across the United States and beyond.
