Child Labor in Bangladesh

RAJU is a 9 year old boy who works in a oil lamp factory in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The environment is hot and dangerous for a young kid like him. He lives with his parents in the same city. His father is a Auto Rickshaw driver and mother is a maid. He earns 1000 Taka (13 USD) per week. In the same factory adult workers get 5000 Taka which is five times higher than him. Due to such low wage child labor is very common scenario in almost every factory of Bangladesh. (Photo by Mohammad Ponir Hossain/NurPhoto)
