Indonesian First C-130J-30 Super Hercules Arrived In Jakarta

The C-130J-30 Super Hercules A1339 aircraft of the Indonesian Air Force landed at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta, on March 6, 2023. The C-130J-30 Super Hercules A1339 arrived in Indonesia after flying 18,318 km with a total flying time of 34 hours from Lockheed Martin Aerospace, Georgia, on February 28, 2023, passing over the mainland of Marieta, Monterey, Honolulu, Kwajalein, Guam, and ending at Halim Perdanakusuma airbase. The aircraft is the first of a total of 5 aircraft ordered by Indonesia, with the other 4 to be delivered in stages until early 2024. These modern military transport aircraft will replace a number of C-130Bs and C-130Hs that arrived in Indonesia in the 1970s -1980s. (Photo by Aditya Irawan/NurPhoto)
