NJ: Murder Suicide In Roxbury; Father Shot Wife And Son Then Killed Himself
Murder suicide at a residence in Roxbury, New Jersey, United States took place on March 7, 2023. A family of three were found dead in a Roxbury home on Justine Place Tuesday morning and were killed in a murder-suicide according to Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll. Authorities found the bodies of 57-year-old Peter Ventricelli, his wife 58-year-old Kellie and son 15-year-old Anthony Tuesday morning about 10 a.m. during a welfare check which was requested by a family friend at the home on Justine Place in the Succasunna section of Roxbury according to prosecutors. Police say they believe Peter Ventricelli shot his wife and son before killing himself. Investigators determined that the killings took place early in the morning Tuesday, approximately between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., Carroll said. A separate murder-suicide happened one month ago, 9:30 a.m., February 19, 2023 in Linden, New Jersey which claimed the lives of two children, a mother and a father.
