Tour To The Media In The Former Bunker Of García Luna, Former Secretary Of Security In Mexico, Currently Found Guilty By The United States Court For Links To Drug Trafficking

By order of Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, president of Mexico, federal authorities offered a tour to the media in Mexico City in the former Bunker of Garcia Luna, former secretary of security in Mexico, currently found guilty by the Court of the United States for links to drug trafficking. In a tour of the bowels of this facility in charge of elements of the National Guard, the now called Crisis Room was discovered, a meeting center for the high command to access intelligence, surveillance and monitoring operations through the sophisticated screens. It was the operations center of the now defunct Federal Police during the mandate of the then president of Mexico, Felipe Calderon (2006-2012). (Photo by Gerardo Vieyra/NurPhoto)
