The streak-throated woodpecker (Picus xanthopygaeus) is a species of woodpecker found in the Indian subcontinent. Streak-throated inhabits open forests from lowlands up into the foothills, usually in drier areas. It is a Lime-green woodpecker with a gray face and finely scaled underparts, Crown is blood red in males and black in females. They are non-migratory in nature.
