Protest In Paris
Laurent Berger, secretary general of the CFDT (Confederation Democratique Du Travail) is present in the union march during a new demonstration in Paris as part of a national day of strikes and protests called by the unions concerning the proposed pension reform on March 11, 2023. The reform proposed by the government includes raising the minimum retirement age from 62 to 64 and increasing the number of years of contributions to receive a full pension. The unions have promised to keep up the pressure on the government, with an upcoming day of mass demonstrations, and some have even said they will continue with unlimited strikes.
