Global Women’s March for Iran in Washington, DC
A man in a (faux) bloodied blindfold calls for an end to the torture of Iranian prisoners during a protest against the Islamic regime of Iran, part of a day of women’s marches around the world. The costume specifically refers to rapper Toomaj Salehi, who was photographed in a bloody blindfold after arrest. National Solidarity Group of Iran hosted the event, which featured prominent Iranian-American women in a protest joined by members of US-Ukrainian Activists. Protesters continue to demand an end to the poisoning of schoolgirls, curtailment of nuclear negotiations, and the fall of the Islamic regime. (Photo by Allison Bailey/NurPhoto)
