Marielle Franco's mother, Marinete da Silva, is paying tribute in downtown Rio de Janeiro on this Tuesday, March 14. The councilwoman was murdered in Rio in 2018, and people are currently holding tributes in her memory and demanding justice and the state's response to the investigation into who ordered the crime.
