Gathering And Violence Against The Pension Reform In Paris

Police use a water cannon during clashes with demonstrators as several thousand demonstrators gathered at Place de la Concorde, opposite the National Assembly, in Paris on March 16, 2023 to protest against the pension reform and the use of article 49-3 of the constitution by the government to force its way through without a vote of the deputies. In the early evening tension rose and clashes between demonstrators and police took place.
