Welcoming Nyepi Day, Saka 1945
Students from Widiatmika School in Jimbaran, Bali held the annual Kirab Budaya event, by parading giant ogoh-ogoh dolls around the area near the school on Saturday, March 18, 2022. This traditional cultural parade is held every year to welcome Nyepi Day, a day of silence and self-reflection in Balinese Hinduism. The parade featured stunningly crafted monsters, which symbolize the demons that are cleansed from the island during Nyepi Day, and it was a colorful display of Balinese culture and customs.
