Krakow's Archconfraternity Of The Lord's Passion Friday Procession
KRAKOW, POLAND - MARCH 10: Dressed in traditional robes and bearing symbols of faith, members of the Arch-confraternity of the Lord's Passion walk solemnly during the Jerusalem procession on the third Friday of Lent, in Krakow, Poland on March 10, 2023. Founded in 1595, the Archconfraternity of the Lord's Passion in Krakow still upholds a rich tradition of celebrating the Passion service with the revered Jerusalem procession every Friday of Lent in the historic Basilica of St. Francis. With less than 20 members, the brotherhood preserves traditional costumes and customs, providing a poignant glimpse into Krakow's religious heritage. (Photo by Artur Widak/NurPhoto)
