Summer At Pembroke Bay, Guernsey Island

Daily life at the sea during a blue sky day at Pembroke beach with many locals and tourists beachgoers enjoying the summer vibes. Pembroke Bay, located in the northernmost part of Guernsey, is home to one of the most delightful golden sandy beaches in Channel Island. With its wide and long sandy beach, clear turquoise waters, and gentle slope into the water, it is the perfect place for swimming, paddling, and a range of water sports. The beach is a popular destination for windsurfing, surfing, sailing, kayaking, and even fishing. Moreover, with ample parking and nearby amenities, including the Beach House restaurant at Pembroke and a traditional kiosk at L'Ancresse, visitors can enjoy a relaxing day at the beach. Pembroke Bay is also situated on the 14 km coastal path that leads from Beaucette to Grand Rocques and is close to a popular golf course, making it a must-visit spot for beach lovers and adventure seekers alike. Next to the beach are many historic fortresses and defense towers. Bailiwick of Guernsey on July 2022 (Photo by Nicolas Economou/NurPhoto)
