Flag Raising Ceremony As NATO Adds Finland

The Flag of Finland, also called siniristilippu ''Blue Cross Flag'' or Suomen lippu in Finnish is raised and waves in the air in the light wind in front of the NATO headquarters buildings in Brussels during a special ceremony, while outside of the HQ Ukrainians demonstrate against the war with Russia and ask for NATO's support in military gear like F16 fighting aircraft jets. The flags at the flagpoles represent the member states in addition to NATO's flag in the middle. The 31 states are Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, The North Atlantic Treaty Organization NATO is an intergovernmental military alliance.
