NJ: Paterson Unveils Mosque Safety Plan In Wake Of Mosque Stabbing Attack Sunday

Mayor of Paterson Andre Sayegh, Councilman Al Abdelaziz, and law enforcement officials unveiled a Mosque Protection Plan for the remainder of Ramadan in Paterson, New Jersey, United States on April 10, 2023. This announcement comes in the wake of the attack of an Imam at Omar Mosque, Sunday. 32-year-old Serif Zorba has been arrested in the stabbing of an imam at a mosque in Paterson, New Jersey, United States on Sunday, April 9, 2023 according to a news release from the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office. Serif Zorba was arrested for allegedly stabbing Imam Sayed Elnakib of the Omar Mosque in Paterson, New Jersey.
