Haitian Migrants Relocated To Shelter In Mexico City
A bus from the National Migration Institute that transported migrants to the Tlahuac Forest facilities in Mexico City to expedite a procedure that would allow them to stay longer in Mexico in the face of the difficulties their compatriots are having in entering the United States, were supported by the Ministry of Inclusion and Social Welfare, which offered them food, accommodation and migration guidance while they are waiting for a permit or ''Visitor Card for Humanitarian Reasons'' that would allow them to transit national territory for between 45 and 90 days in order to continue their journey to the border.
