Twelfth Day Of Protest Against Pension Reform In Paris

Riot police of the CRS 8 FAR are backing up amidst tear gas during a demonstration where for the twelfth time in 3 months, several thousand people, employees and students, demonstrated in the streets of Paris at the call of the interunion to protest against the pension reform proposed by the French government. This law postpones the legal retirement age from 62 to 64 and increases the number of years of compulsory contributions to 43 years. (Photo by Samuel Boivin/NurPhoto)
