Twelfth Day Of Protest Against Pension Reform In Paris
A demonstrator uses a tennis racket to push back tear gas canisters fired by the police during a demonstration where, for the twelfth time in three months, several thousand workers and students demonstrated in the streets of Paris in response to a call from the inter-union group to protest against the French government's proposed pension reform. This law postpones the legal retirement age from 62 to 64 and increases the number of years of compulsory contributions to 43 years. (Photo by Samuel Boivin/NurPhoto)
