Thessaloniki Airport Makedonia

The airport is operated by Fraport Greece, which is a German transport company that operates Frankfurt Airport. It was privatized in 2015 to Fraport AG/Copelouzos Group joint venture. The construction of the new passenger terminal T2 was completed in 2021. Thessaloniki is a hub for Aegean Airlines, Olympic Air and Ryanair and serves Thessaloniki city and popular tourism destinations in Northern Greece like Chalkidiki and Central Macedonia.
