A Farewell Ceremony For Ukrainian Journalist And Serviceman Oleksandr Bondarenko In Kyiv, Amid Russian Invasion Of Ukraine.

Orthodox priests conduct a service during a farewell ceremony with Ukrainian serviceman and former BBC Ukraine journalist Oleksandr Bondarenko, who has been killed on the frontline in the eastern Ukraine, in Kyiv, Ukraine on 1 May 2023, amid Russian invasion of Ukraine. Oleksandr Bondarenko worked as a radio presenter at an FM radio station as well as for BBC Ukraine and then for TRK Ukraine. At the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion in 2022 Oleksandr Bondarenko joined the Ukraine's territorial defense.
