International Workers Day In Nigeria

Workers in Nigeria gather at the Eagle Square, Federal Capital Territory, in Abuja, on may 01, 2023, to join their counterparts around the world mark this year's International Workers Day. The Organised Labour also demanded the review of retirement age for all public servants from 60 to 65 years and from 35 years to 40 years of service. May 1 is a day set aside to celebrate achievement of workers globally and the theme for this year's celebration is 'Workers' Rights and Socio-Economic Justice'.
