For the eighth time hundreds of young people met in Krakow Podgorze for the evening Holy Mass and in several hundred other places throughout Poland to walk the Extreme Way of the Cross, a religious event initiated by Fr. Jacek Stryczka. The trails are about 40 kilometers long with and permit for pilgrims to deeply experience their personal weaknesses with the general ideas behind of 'challenge, walking trail, struggle and meeting'. Ukraine's parliament passed a law to allow foreign military forces into the country as it seeks to quell a pro-Russian separatist uprising in its two eastern-most regions. This form of non-party politics took place on Monday 4th May 2015. -- People, acting on behalf of the campaign group 38 Degrees, organised and participated in an afternoon of campaigning for the UK's National Health Service. This was to remind voters about its important role in society and health. Although the participants were involved in political campaigning they were not, as part of this activity, affiliated to a political party.
