The organizers 'Munchen ist Bunt' write in their call for the rally: 'At a time when hatred, exclusion, and right-wing extremist groups become a threat to our democracy, when there is more and more right-wing extremist violence, when in our neighboring country Austria the extreme right-wing FPO could become chancellor, we are sending a powerful signal for diversity, human dignity, cohesion, and democracy shortly before the federal elections!
