In Brazil, most traffic accidents involving vehicles and pedestrians are caused by lack of education. Many pedestrians cross in inappropriate places, even when there is signposting and pedestrian crossing, or even when there are walkways on the roads. In this image, a man dies run over in the neighborhood of Madureira, north zone of Rio de Janeiro, when crossing in an undue place. The man was hit and killed by a bus from the BRT - Bus Rapid Transit built for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and left as a legacy to the city after the Olympics.

A temporary installation "Endless Celebration" by Iranian artist Mahmoud Bakhshi is seen at the former site of the Lenin’s monument on Taras Shevchenko Boulevard as Communists all over the world mark the 99th anniversary of Bolshevik Revolution(also called Great October Revolution) on November 7, 2016. Mahmoud Bakhshi chose the changing colours of a traffic light to signpost the impossibility to go back to the past as red and the new possible directions as green and yellow. Three face images carefully selected by the artist are Lenin, Virgin Mary and pop-singer Madonna.
