Balinese traditional guards, or pecalang, patrol a street during the observation of Nyepi on March 7, 2019 in Kuta, Bali, Indonesia. Nyepi, or silence day, is held annually to celebrate Bali's Caka New Year. During this day all the people in Bali must stay at home and the streets are occupied only by the 'Pecalang', the security team in place to monitor that the restrictions are being followed.
