Cooks are preparing food for Kharkiv residents on the Food Train at the railway station in Kharkiv, northeastern Ukraine, on November 24, 2023. The autonomous Food Train, built and maintained by the Ukrainian Railways and financed by the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, set out from Kyiv to Kharkiv and Izium on its maiden voyage. On its first trip, the train is delivering Thanksgiving meals to local residents and Ukrainian emergency workers, paramedics, and police officers working in the region. The train consists of six carriages, including a generator car, a refrigerator car, a cold kitchen car, a hot kitchen car, a crew car with a shower and a washing machine, and a luggage car with a 27,000-liter water reservoir, a filtration station, and a pumping station. The Food Train can operate autonomously using its generators and water supply for up to 7 days and deliver 10,000 hot meals per day to the regions of Ukraine that have sustained serious damage to logistic and power networks across de-occupied territories. Buffett Foundation, is cutting a turkey roasted on the Food Train at the railway station platform in Kharkiv, northeastern Ukraine, on November 24, 2023. The autonomous Food Train, built and maintained by the Ukrainian Railways and financed by the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, embarked on its maiden voyage from Kyiv to Kharkiv and Izium. On its first trip, the train is delivering Thanksgiving meals to local residents and Ukrainian emergency workers, paramedics, and police officers working in the region. The train, consisting of six carriages, is equipped with a generator car, a refrigerator car, a cold kitchen car, a hot kitchen car, a crew car with a shower and washing machine, and a luggage car with a 27,000-liter water reservoir, a filtration station, and a pumping station. Capable of operating autonomously for up to 7 days using its generators and water supply, the Food Train can deliver 10,000 hot meals per day to regions in Ukraine that have sustained serious damage to logistic and power networks across de-occupied territories.

A Yellow Jacket paramedic tries to locate the paramedic crew after a volley of tear gas canisters. In solidarity with the Yellow Vests, highschool students took again to the streets of Toulouse. Yellow Vest Medics (ie doctor or nurse or firefighter) followed the students' demonstration to give first help to students injured or irritated by tear gas. Students protest also against the Baccalaureate reforms and the new system of selection in universities called Parcour'sup launched by Macron's government. Riot police fired volleys of tear gas canisters to disperse high school students. Toulouse. France. December 6th 2018.
