Mass shooting at the intersection of Jersey Street and Oliver Street in Paterson, New Jersey, United States on July 5, 2023. Five people were reportedly shot early Wednesday morning, one day after the Fourth of July holiday. Two people on scene had to be administered CPR. Two walk in victims were found at one hospital in Paterson and one walk in victim sought treatment at a hospital in a nearby town. No further information was immediately available from the Paterson police department. Several evidence markers were at the crime scene.

Two people shot on Griscom Street and Foulkrod Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States on May 24, 2023. Wednesday evening at approximately 6:59 PM Eastern Time in the intersection of Griscom Street and Foulkrod Street, a 31-year-old male was shot one time in the left side of the back and is in stable condition. A 30-year-old male was shot two times in the buttocks and is in stable condition. There have been no arrests and a weapon has not been recovered.
