Ilaria Salis, a 39-year-old activist and primary school teacher from Monza, is being held in a Hungarian prison since February 2023 after being arrested in Budapest. She is accused of participating in alleged attacks by members of an anti-fascist group against neo-Nazi sympathizers following a far-right ''Day of Honor'' demonstration. Although she is currently under house arrest, she is risking life in prison.
