The Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train, also known as Whoosh, is seen crossing Bekasi, West Java, on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Deputy Minister of Transportation Suntana announced that the government of President Prabowo Subianto would review plans for the next phase of the high-speed train project, which aims to connect Jakarta and Surabaya in East Java. Originally initiated by the Joko Widodo administration, the review will assess feasibility and funding.
